Softball Recap: Howell Takes a Loss

Howell was the 4-3 winner over Salem when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Highlanders fell 6-1 to the Rocks on Wednesday. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Howell saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Caldwell, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Howell's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Salem, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3-1.

While Howell had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
