Nipomo moved up to 671 from 698 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Los Padres. The Titans climbed the ranks as a result of a 48-34 win over the Titans.

Cabrillo and Santa Ynez played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Cabrillo eventually emerging with a 19-14 victory.

Luke Shurtleff and Tommy Saenz gave Nipomo a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Shurtleff threw for 209 yards and two touchdowns, while Saenz ran for 202 yards. Shurtleff also contributed to the rushing game with 15 yards on the ground.

Zach Smith was the best wideout in the league this week as Morro Bay bested Russ Edwards's team. Smith tallied four receptions for 150 yards. Tristan Collins helped Morro Bay's passing attack out by catching one ball for 32 yards.

Thanks to the talents of Shurtleff and Saenz the Titans have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Shurtleff leads the league in passing with 1099 yards, while Saenz has rushed for 659 yards this season. The Pirates' Smith leads the league in receiving yards with 299 on 11 catches.

The top two teams in Los Padres will face off this week when first place Lompoc takes on second place Templeton. Lompoc last week, while Templeton defeated Santa Maria.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Braves take on the Eagles. Lompoc has allowed 45 points this season, while Templeton has given up 127.

Dan Loney's team took down the Saints 54-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
