Dimond is 8-2 against West Anchorage since November of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lynx will be playing at home against the Eagles at 8:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Dimond has three straight wins, West Anchorage has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Dimond and Bartlett had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Lynx walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Golden Bears on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 21-25, 25-13.

Meanwhile, West Anchorage came up short against Service on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

West Anchorage was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-12, 25-23.

West Anchorage's defeat dropped their record down to 8-24-2. As for Dimond, their win bumped their record up to 20-9-1.

Dimond beat West Anchorage 2-0 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Lynx repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
