Baseball Recap: Methacton Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Methacton's offense. They fell just short of the Perkiomen Valley Vikings by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Surprisingly, this marked the Warriors' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Methacton's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Perkiomen Valley, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-8.

Methacton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Perkiomen Valley, they will venture away from home to face off against Governor Mifflin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
