It's playoff time, and Waupaca had no trouble coming through when it counted. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Rice Lake Warriors 3-2. The Comets are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 13 straight.

Waupaca found their leader in sophomore Sage Soto, who had 16 digs and three aces.

Waupaca's record is now 27-10. As for Rice Lake, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 24-11 record.

Looking ahead, Waupaca will face off against Luxemburg-Casco on Friday. Rice Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
