If Odyssey Institute wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Kingman, they should've done a better job of containing D'ANTHONY BUSH. The Bulldogs walked away with a 21-13 win over the Minotaur on Friday for which the team can thank BUSH, who rushed for 110 yards and one TD, and also threw for 77 yards and one touchdown. Kingman is 2-1 when BUSH posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-3 otherwise.

Although Odyssey Institute took the loss, they still got scores from Amari Judd and Aaron Ruano.

Kingman's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-4. As for Odyssey Institute, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Kingman and Odyssey Institute will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Bulldogs see the field they'll take on Dysart at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Odyssey Institute, their break will end when they face Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
