Volleyball Recap: West Washington Senators vs. Perry Central Commodores
West Washington came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Perry Central Commodores. The Senators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Commodores apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.
The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19, 25-14.
Perry Central found their leader in freshman Ella Underhill, who had seven digs and three aces.
West Washington now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Perry Central, they pushed their record up to 19-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.
West Washington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Mitchell on the 23rd. As for Perry Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Lanesville on the 22nd.
