Football Recap: Dakota Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Dakota Valley was the 14-7 winner over Vermillion when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers lost 27-6 to the Tanagers on Friday. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Kaiden Christensen threw for 103 yards on 14 of 20 attempts. Luke Anema was his top target, picking up 76 receiving yards.

Dakota Valley has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Vermillion, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.
