Soccer Game Preview: Rock Ridge vs. Loudoun Valley

Rock Ridge is 1-9 against Loudoun Valley since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Phoenix will take on the Vikings at 7:15 p.m. Rock Ridge's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Monday, Rock Ridge didn't have quite enough to beat Heritage and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Rock Ridge have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Loudoun Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Tuscarora on Monday and fell 4-3.

Loudoun Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-4-3. As for Rock Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9-3.

Rock Ridge came up short against Loudoun Valley in their previous meeting back in April, falling 3-1. Can the Phoenix avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
