Softball Recap: Cadott Hornets vs. Regis Ramblers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stanley-Boyd, Cadott was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-10 win over the Regis Ramblers. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Hornets' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Lexi Bremness was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, five runs, and one triple. Those five runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Abi Bowe, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run.
Cadott's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6. As for Regis, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cadott is set to take on their familiar foe Thorp at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Regis will square off against rival McDonell Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
