Flag Football Game Preview: Mountain View Toros vs. Skyline Coyotes + Official Tickets

The Mountain View Toros will head out on the road to face off against the Skyline Coyotes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View's defense has only allowed 7.7 points per game this season, so Skyline's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Mountain View's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Westwood, posting a 58-0 win. Considering the Toros have won seven contests by more than 27 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

EMMA FISCHBECK had another great game (as she tends to do), picking up 82 receiving yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 56 yards and one touchdown. BROOKE WHITING was in the mix too, providing Mountain View with two scores.

Meanwhile, Skyline fell victim to Red Mountain and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a blow against the Mountain Lions, falling 44-0. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona flag football rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Mountain Lions are ranked sixth).

Mountain View has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.6 points over those games. As for Skyline, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Mountain View beat Skyline 14-6 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Toros since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
