Baseball Game Preview: East Bay Indians vs. Bloomingdale Bulls

East Bay is 0-10 against Bloomingdale since April of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The East Bay Indians will take on the Bloomingdale Bulls at 7:00 p.m.

Last Thursday, East Bay came up short against King and fell 10-6.

East Bay got a good showing from Mike Mowell, who struck out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits.

At the plate, East Bay saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rory Beauford, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Bloomingdale earned a 6-3 win over Alonso on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Bulls in their matchups with the Ravens: they've now won three in a row.

Bloomingdale also got a great performance from Hayden Porter as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over 5.2 innings pitched.

On the hitting side, James Osting was excellent, going a perfect3-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (three). Another player making a difference was Braxton Wilken, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

The win got Bloomingdale back to even at 1-1. As for East Bay, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
