Soccer Recap: Steele Takes a Loss

After flying high against Elyria Catholic on Friday, Steele came back down to earth. The Comets came up short against the Firelands Falcons on Monday, falling 4-0. If Steele were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to Firelands when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Steele's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Firelands, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Steele will head out to take on Valley Forge at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Firelands, they will venture away from home to challenge Columbia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The match will give Firelands their first taste of in-conference action this season.
