Basketball Recap: Science Leadership Academy at Beeber's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Science Leadership Academy at Beeber won the last time they faced Strawberry Mansion, and Khary Bruce did his part to make sure it happened again. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, the Science Leadership Academy at Beeber Rockets made off with a 45-44 victory over the Strawberry Mansion Knights thanks in part to Bruce, who posted 15 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jhameil Kelly, who had 20 points. Another player making a difference was Shamar Davis, who scored 12 points.

The win made it two in a row for Science Leadership Academy at Beeber and bumps their season record up to 8-11. As for Strawberry Mansion, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

Science Leadership Academy at Beeber wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 67-42 defeat against George Washington on the 21st. As for Strawberry Mansion, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-55 loss against Olney on the 21st.
