Christian's loss came about despite a quality game from McKade Mathson, who had 19 digs and five assists. Mathson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 12 or more in each of the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Trae Pheasant, who had nine assists and seven digs.
Meanwhile, Mount Miguel lost 3-0 to West Hills on Thursday.
Mount Miguel was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 25-19.
Mount Miguel's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
