Soccer Game Preview: Miami vs. Jackson

The Miami Stingarees will head out to take on the Jackson Generals at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.

Miami is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against North Miami on Thursday. The Stingarees and the Pioneers finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Jackson got the win against Sunset on Friday by a conclusive 5-1. The win continues a trend for Jackson in their matchups with Sunset: they've now won three in a row.

Miami's draw gives them a new season record of 1-1-1. As for Jackson, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Miami was able to grind out a solid win over Jackson in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Stingarees since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
