Carlinville won the last time they faced Lincolnwood and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cavaliers came out on top against the Lancers by a score of 2-0.

Madeline Murphy paced Carlinville's offense, picking up eight kills. Murphy got some help from Rowan Nepute and her 17 assists. Ruthie Reels controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Carlinville has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Lincolnwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Carlinville and Lincolnwood will both be playing Gillespie the next time they take the court. The Lancers will host the Miners at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Cavaliers will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
