Volleyball Recap: Animo Robinson Takes a Loss

Animo Robinson lost against Gertz-Ressler back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Monarchs fell just short of the Pumas by a score of 3-2. The Monarchs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Animo Robinson sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-18, 22-25, 25-20, 23-25, 15-11.

Animo Robinson's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Gertz-Ressler, they moved to 8-6 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Looking ahead, Animo Robinson is taking a road trip to square off against Neuwirth Leadership Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Gertz-Ressler, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Stern on the 25th.
