Basketball Recap: Umpire Takes a Loss

Umpire was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 62-19 loss at the hands of the Horatio Lions. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while the Lions are ranked 99th).

Umpire's loss dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Horatio, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Umpire nor Horatio have any future games scheduled.
