Basketball Recap: Woodbury Comes Up Short

Woodbury lost against Sterling on January 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Woodbury Thundering Herd took a 49-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sterling Silver Knights. The Thundering Herd have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Paris Logan had an outrageously good game for Sterling as she dropped a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds. Those 26 points gave Logan a new career-high. Lexi Kuhn was another key player, putting up 16 points and five boards.

Woodbury's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Sterling, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

Woodbury will be playing at home against Haddon Township at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sterling, they will head out on the road to face off against Haddonfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
