Baseball Recap: Rocket City Picks Up Tenth Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Rocket City, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Huntland Hornets by a score of 11-8 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Rockets in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won three in a row.

Carson Nelms looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts.

On the hitting side, Jordan Skipworth was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI. Isaac Schrimsher was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
