The Belleview Christian Bruins will challenge the Golden View Classical Academy Sentinels at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Belleview Christian has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with four straight losses, while Golden View Classical Academy will come in with 14 straight wins.
Last Saturday, Belleview Christian was beaten by Flatirons Academy 79-42.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kentrell Beasley, who posted 13 points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in field goal percentage (80%). Ryan Reyes was another key player, shooting 71% from the field to rack up 10 points and seven rebounds.
Even though they lost, Belleview Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. This was only their third loss (out of nine games) when they've passed the ball that well.
Meanwhile, Golden View Classical Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Addenbrooke Classical Academy on Friday, taking the game 44-37.
Belleview Christian better keep an eye on Isaiah Fresquez. He was instrumental in Golden View Classical Academy's win, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards. Fresquez continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Huck Hale also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.
Golden View Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Belleview Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-13.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Belleview Christian has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 31.4 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Golden View Classical Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 35.7 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Belleview Christian came up short against Golden View Classical Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 47-35. Can Belleview Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
