Baseball Recap: Ridge Point Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Ridge Point's offense. They fell just short of the Fort Bend Travis Tigers by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Ridge Point's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-9-1. As for Fort Bend Travis, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5-2.

While Ridge Point had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
