Volleyball Game Preview: Carolina Forest Panthers vs. Conway Tigers

Carolina Forest has gone a perfect 9-0 against Conway recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Carolina Forest will be strutting in after a win while Conway will be coming in after a loss.

Carolina Forest took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Myrtle Beach. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Seahawks recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Carolina Forest was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 25-13.

Carolina Forest's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Erion Tabaku, who had 19 assists and five digs. Tabaku has been hot, having posted 13 or more assists the last six times he's played.

Meanwhile, Conway faced Socastee in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Braves. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-16.

Conway's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Carolina Forest, their win bumped their record up to 23-5-1.

Carolina Forest took their victory against Conway when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
