Basketball Game Preview: East View Patriots vs. Weiss Wolves

The East View Patriots will take on the Weiss Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East View knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Weiss likes a good challenge.

East View will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Hendrickson, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. East View blew past Hendrickson 64-42 on Friday. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Hawks are ranked 682nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Weiss had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Pflugerville Connally 48-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolves have posted since December 6, 2024.

Weiss' win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 10-16. As for East View, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.
