Basketball Recap: Locust Fork Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Locust Fork, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 55-51 win over the Vinemont Eagles on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Hornets' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Eagles are ranked 32nd).

Locust Fork's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Vinemont, they moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Locust Fork will be home for the holidays to greet Pennington at 5:00 p.m. on December 17th. As for Vinemont, they will venture away from home to challenge Hanceville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
