Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tonganoxie). They blew past the Louisburg Wildcats 15-4 on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Chieftains considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Tonganoxie's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-5. As for Louisburg, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 9-2 record.

Tonganoxie didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-2 defeat against Basehor-Linwood on the 18th. As for Louisburg, they will face off against Osawatomie on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
