Hammond Morton won the last time they faced Calumet New Tech, and LeBron Hill did his part to make sure it happened again. The Hammond Morton Governors were the clear victor by a 77-55 margin over the Calumet New Tech Warriors on Thursday thanks to Hill, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Michael Woods, who scored seven points. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 60% in the last four games he's played.

Despite the loss, Calumet New Tech still got an impressive performance from Eric Allen, who earned 16 points. Javon Lawerence was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds.

Hammond Morton's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Calumet New Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.
