Basketball Game Preview: Granbury Pirates vs. Chisholm Trail Rangers

The Granbury Pirates will take on the Chisholm Trail Rangers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Granbury is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Aledo on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Granbury came up short against Aledo, falling 49-28. The Pirates have struggled against the Bearcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Chisholm Trail can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 48-36 win over Saginaw.

Chisholm Trail's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-14. As for Granbury, their loss dropped their record down to 18-14.

Granbury beat Chisholm Trail 53-43 when the teams last played back in January. Will Granbury repeat their success, or does Chisholm Trail have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
