Juan Diego Catholic put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Hillcrest Huskies by a score of 54-46. That's more bragging rights for the Soaring Eagle, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Juan Diego Catholic's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Deng Deng, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Deng has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 57% every time he's hit the court this season. Javier Aguirre was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Despite the loss, Hillcrest still got an impressive performance from Ezra Bell, who posted 12 points along with eight boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Cyrus Nielsen, who put up ten points.

Juan Diego Catholic's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Hillcrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Juan Diego Catholic will be playing in front of their home fans against Timpanogos at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd. As for Hillcrest, they will take on Spring Creek at 4:40 p.m. on the 4th.
