Sand Creek is 0-10 against Falcon since April of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Scorpions will head out to take on the Falcons at 3:30 p.m. Sand Creek is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.
On Thursday, Sand Creek made easy work of Sierra and carried off a 14-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Scorpions.

The team relied heavily on Hayden Garcia, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Avyn Walter was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Sand Creek hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 4-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Falcon waltzed into their contest on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the Red-Tailed Hawks.
Brayden Millikan was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Ethan Gentz, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Falcon's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Sand Creek, their record now sits at 10-8.
Wednesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Sand Creek hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .320. However, it's not like Falcon struggles in that department as they've averaged .362. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Sand Creek might still be hurting after the 16-0 loss they got from Falcon in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Scorpions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
