Softball Recap: Waverly Central Tigers vs. Houston County Fighting Irish
Waverly Central extended their losing streak to five on Monday, dropping them down to 8-19. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Houston County Fighting Irish. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fighting Irish apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.
