Basketball Recap: Gadsden County Takes a Loss

Gadsden County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 75-30 defeat at the hands of the Lowndes Vikings. The match marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Tarrell Green Jr. had a dynamite game for Lowndes, almost dropping a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaiden Brown, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

Gadsden County's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lowndes, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Gadsden County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-45 defeat against Lowndes on the 17th. As for Lowndes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 58-45 loss against Houston County on the 13th.
