Elk Mound entered their tilt with Spring Valley on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. The Mounders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by nine runs or more this season.

Elk Mound pushed their record up to 16-5 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Spring Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
