Volleyball Recap: Deer Valley Victorious

Deer Valley won the last time they faced Lincoln and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wolverines came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.

JACKSON JONES paced Deer Valley's offense, picking up nine kills. JONES got some help from BRYANT MARTINEZ and his 21 assists. MARTINEZ was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Deer Valley's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deer Valley will welcome Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln, they will challenge Lodi at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
