Baseball Recap: Dumont Wins Going Away Against Saddle Brook

Dumont had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Saddle Brook Falcons on Tuesday as they made off with a 17-1 victory. The game marked the Huskies' most dominant win of the season.

Eric Orso was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Alex Martin was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Dylan Mendez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
