Central Heights won the last time they faced Marmaton Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Vikings walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Central Heights took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-8.

Anna Heckman paced Central Heights' offense, picking up four kills. Heckman got some help from Kenna Kimball and her five assists. Kimball was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Central Heights' win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Marmaton Valley, they dropped their record down to 5-15 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Central Heights will challenge rival Pleasanton at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Marmaton Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Jayhawk Linn on Tuesday.
