Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Martin Luther King). They blew past Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech 17-7 on Thursday.

Martin Luther King's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Martin Luther King will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Roxborough at 3:15 p.m. on the 24th. After both having extra time off, Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech and First Philadelphia Prep will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:15 p.m. on the 21st.
