Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Pope John Paul II

Pope John Paul II put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Pottsgrove Falcons 11-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Pope John Paul II also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Chase Frantz was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Tyler Timdall was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Pope John Paul II was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .520. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .419 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Pope John Paul II's record now sits at 3-0. As for Pottsgrove, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Pope John Paul II is taking a road trip to take on Faith Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Faith Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Pope John Paul II surely won't give up without a fight.
