Soccer Game Preview: Normal West vs. Peoria Notre Dame

The Normal West Wildcats are taking a road trip to square off against the Peoria Notre Dame Irish at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Normal West is headed into Monday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They fell 2-0 to Morton on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that Normal West have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Peoria Notre Dame waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Purple Raiders. Peoria Notre Dame might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

Peoria Notre Dame's victory bumped their record up to 10-3-3. As for Normal West, the defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 13-2-1.

Normal West suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Peoria Notre Dame when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
