Meanwhile, Weldon Valley posted their closest win since September 5th on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Peetz 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Lone Star's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Weldon Valley, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.
