Colfax entered their tilt with Gridley on Monday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They breezed past the Bulldogs to the tune of 46-0. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 118th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 650th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Colfax didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Juliana Massick, Miakota Toy, and Sophia Smiley picked up one apiece.

Colfax's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Gridley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, Colfax and Gridley will both be playing Oakmont the next time they take the field. The Falcons will head out to face the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
