On Tuesday, Maui faced Kamehameha Maui in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Maui Sabers secured a 42-37 W over the Kamehameha Maui Warriors. The victory was nothing new for the Sabers as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Maui found their leader in sophomore Darsee Seegmiller, who posted 11 points. Seegmiller is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Dreia Sabas was another key player, putting up three points and six assists.

Maui's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.1 points per game. As for Kamehameha Maui, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-5.

Maui will challenge King Kekaulike at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Kamehameha Maui, they will face off against Lahainaluna at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kamehameha Maui is facing Lahainaluna at the right time seeing as Lahainaluna is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
