Seven must be Kettle Run's lucky number: they beat Warren County with that score not once but twice on Wednesday. The Cougars didn't even let the Wildcats on the board, marking the Cougars' second-straight 7-0 shutout. Considering the Cougars have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Kettle Run and bumps their season record up to 13-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Warren County, they dropped their record down to 9-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
