Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Brewer + How To Watch

Brewer hadn't done well against Granbury recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bears blew past the Pirates 3-0. The game was the first time the Bears have beaten the Pirates on their court since October 19, 2021.

While Brewer won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-23, 25-21.

The victory was the third in a row for Brewer, bringing their record up to 20-14. As for Granbury, they dropped their record down to 19-23 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Brewer and Granbury will both be playing Azle the next time they take the court. The Bears will host the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Pirates will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
