Basketball Game Preview: Babcock Trailblazers vs. Sarasota Military Academy Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Babcock Trailblazers will get right back to it and host the Sarasota Military Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sarasota Military Academy took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Babcock, who comes in off a win.

Babcock is coming into the contest on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight victories. They walked away with a 51-44 win over Marco Island Academy on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Sarasota Military Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 73-45 loss at the hands of Lakewood Ranch. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-14.

Sarasota Military Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Babcock, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.

Babcock took their win against Sarasota Military Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 44-20. Will Babcock repeat their success, or does Sarasota Military Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
