Football Recap: Washington-Marion Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Washington-Marion was riding high fresh off their 44-14 takedown of Abbeville last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Charging Indians fell 42-38 to the South Beauregard Knights on Friday. The Charging Indians have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why Washington-Marion lost, don't look at Monte Farmer. Despite the final result, he rushed for 64 yards and three scores on only nine carries, and also threw for 182 yards and one TD.

Washington-Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for South Beauregard, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
