Toronto extends road losing streak to three

Recap: Toronto Red Knights vs. Wellsville Tigers

The Toronto Red Knights were the 51-36 winner over the Wellsville Tigers when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. Toronto was beaten by Wellsville 53-13 on Tuesday. Toronto can't seem to catch a break and have yet to win any of their three games.

Ashton Thomas was Toronto's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Thomas also led the team in rebounds with eight. JJ Rebich took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with a assist.

Toronto bumped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.7 points per game. As for Wellsville, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Toronto will head out on the road to face off against Madonna at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wellsville, they will take on Valley Christian at TBD on Thursday.
