Baseball Recap: Hobart Comes Up Short

Hobart and Valparaiso squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hobart had to settle for second. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 14-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Brickies in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost three in a row.

Hobart saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Donio Pimentel, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Hobart's loss dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Valparaiso, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-5.

As of now, neither Hobart nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
