Softball Recap: Springville Falls Short of West Jordan in the Playoffs

Springville and West Jordan squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Springville had to settle for second. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2016.

Tyler Haveron made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. Jaz Ciliezar was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

With the defeat, Springville broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-7. As for West Jordan, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 20-3.
